$5,000 Advanced Microblader Class

For existing Microblader Professionals Only – 100 Hour Device Course

This course is for the comfortable Microblader-only who wants to learn permanent makeup using a digital device. Procedures covered include Lips and Powder/Ombre Brows. Credit will be given for prior training. Applicants for this class must provide prior training information to determine eligibility for this course.

Please note: This class does not include Brow-Mapping or Hairstroke Patterns, as it’s expected the student has already learned these skills in their prior training and experience (which is how we are able to reduce the class to 4 days).

Certificate: Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate recognized by the health department that shows you have completed the fundamental/primary micropigmentation training necessary to become a certified micropigmentation artist.

Class curriculum:

This 100-hour fundamental includes everything you’ll need to know to start out successfully: skin anatomy, color theory & pigments, esterilization, medical history/ client information + consultations, equipament/needle selection, facial morphology, how get your own practice/office started, and much more.

This 100-hour fundamental course includes techniques of eyebrow shading, eyeliner, and lip color.

  • Part 1 – All materials will be provided on first course day for at home studying (40 study hours )
  • Part 2 – Prior credit given (20 study hours)

Student will provide proof of prior training and certificates for 20 hours of credit to be applied to certificate.

  • Part 3 – Fundamental Training (4 days at our academy)

Hands on practice with 3 live models in our student clinic.

Class Materials Included

This course will included everything you need to practice from home, including:

  • Nedles;
  • Pigments;
  • Practice pads and mannequin head;
  • Training materials.

 

  • Consultations: All of the important details that go into a client consultation including the documents they will need to fill out.
  • Shaping: How to shape perfect eyebrows on each face shape and the tricks and secrets to perfecting symmetry.
  • Techniques: Lucy will teach you the techniques she uses to achieve perfect brows.
  • Skin: Differences in skin types and how to work with each type to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Color Theory: Choosing the right color pigment for each client and skin type.
  • Pre & Post Care: Important pre & post-care instructions given to clients.
  • Content: How to create quality content for your website & social media platforms with specific apps and filters.

It’s not rocket science but there is a lot of info so prepare to learn. Of course, you will need to look into the specific regulations in your State and City but as far as being prepared to get started with your Microblading career, we’ve got that covered.

All students will receive all the materials they’ll need for practice in class.

Pre-requisite: blood born pathogens

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health requires all students to study and pass a Blood borne Pathogens/Communicable Diseases cerfitication. It is not necessary to complete this certification until you are registered for class. This training can be completed online.
